DESCRIPTION
B5299 is a medium modulus high temperature, multi purpose red in colour acetoxy silicone sealant for use in high temperature applications.
APPLICATIONS
A one-part moisture curing silicone sealant suitable for use across a broad range of applications. Makes any size gasket and offers good adhesion to a variety of non-pourous substrates such as glass, glazed ceramic tiles, aluminium and metal.
Offers excellent resistance to aging, shrinkage, cracking, discoloring and resists temperatures up to +315 degrees celcius.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Surfaces must be clean, dry from grease, dust and any contaminants. Non porous surfaces such as aluminium and glass etc should be cleaned with a suitable solvent for the substrate.
PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION
After suitable joint preparation is completed gun the sealant into place and ensure it is tooled using a suitable tool dipped in soapy water within five minutes of application.
Uncured material can be removed using a suitable solvent or sealant remover.
